Summertime Fun

I had a fantastic time shooting my bubbly and beautiful niece, Caroline, the other day.  It was sweltering outside, but we were troopers and we still managed to come away with some great shots.  I loved the new "rustic urban" location I found.  She even brought her cute little dog, Fancy, for a prop.  A big thank you to Caroline for making this session super fun!

Gorgeous Light, Gorgeous Girl

I absolutely love shooting in the golden light of the evening sun, and I'll hardly shoot at any other time.  Everything worked together on this evening a few weeks ago.  I had a beautiful girl with a very stylish wardrobe, a beautiful background, and the sun setting in the distance and making everything glow.  Thank you, Leslie, for posing for me! 

I'll Take What I Can Get

So my almost three year old grandson does *not* like to pose for me *at all*.  He's all boy, all the time, and sitting still for the camera is just silly when there are more important things to do, like playing cars or jumping from couch to couch.  I have to be quick with the camera and very sly if I want to get a shot of him, so a couple of weeks ago when we were hanging out in my office, I pulled out my camera and started snapping.   He had a dirty face and no shirt, but I'll take what I can get, and I was able to capture a few images of his sweet little face without too much fuss from him. 

The Free Family

I love this little family, and I am so honored they wanted me to take their family portraits.  We couldn't have asked for more beautiful light that day, or a happier baby.  I could stare at that angelic little face for hours.  And, yes, he is as soft and cuddly as he looks.
